Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of trystepio.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make from Stepio ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order or using the Site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to place an order. Stepio products are designed for children aged roughly 10 to 15, but the order itself must be placed by a parent, guardian or other adult.

2. The product

The Stepio Growth Strap is a sports accessory. It is not a medical device, it is not FDA-cleared, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. Nothing on this Site is medical advice. If your child has severe knee pain, pain at rest or at night, swelling, fever, a limp that does not improve, or pain following an injury, see a qualified healthcare professional before using any support.

3. Prices and orders

All prices are shown in US dollars and exclude shipping and any applicable taxes or duties, which are calculated at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order already placed and confirmed.

Your order is an offer to buy. We confirm acceptance by sending an order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order, in whole or in part, where the item is out of stock, where a price or description was clearly wrong, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full.

Promotional offers such as Buy 1 Get 1 Free apply only while displayed, cannot be combined with other offers unless expressly stated, and apply to the lowest-priced qualifying item.

4. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number. By submitting payment details you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method.

5. Shipping

Shipping times, costs and destinations are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery.

6. Returns and refunds

Our Refund Policy sets out your rights to return a product and forms part of these Terms.

7. Correct use

Follow the fitting instructions supplied with the product. The strap sits below the kneecap, never over it, and should feel firm but never numbing. Stop using it and seek advice if your child feels tingling, numbness, skin irritation, colour change in the lower leg, or increased pain. Do not use on broken, infected or irritated skin. Do not wear while sleeping. Adults are responsible for supervising fit and use by a child.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, photographs, illustrations, logos and the Stepio name, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written permission.

9. Your content

If you send us a review, photo or video, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it to promote the product, including on our Site, in emails and in advertising. You confirm the content is yours to share and that anyone identifiable in it has agreed. If a child appears, you confirm you are their parent or guardian. You can ask us to stop using your content at any time by emailing support@trystepio.com.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this clause may not apply to you.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version in force is the one published on the Site when you place your order.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of that state, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your place of residence gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
